Peter Harley from Crest Home Inspections did an excellent job with our home inspection. I had reached out to a few... inspectors to understand their home inspection process and received varied responses. Peter talked with me at length prior to scheduling the inspection and took time to answer all my questions and concerns upfront. He was quick to respond even before I had requested his services. He also assured me that in order to not rush himself with the inspection he schedules only 1 inspection per day.On the day of the inspection Peter arrived on time ~ 9.30am. I had planned on being present for the inspection and go along with him. Peter finished his inspection at 3.30pm- a full 6 hours. He took his sweet time and also explained/showed things in the home that I need to be careful about in the future. I accompanied him into the attic, crawlspace, porch and other locations. Along the way he took multiple pictures and also videos to highlight the issues on his report. He also has a Thermal Imaging camera that will show problems that may not be quickly visible via naked eye, and this service was for no additional charge.Peter's inspection report was clear to read and understand. He uses an online software tool that lets you access the home inspection report. You can also download a PDF file and send it across. The online tool is quite intuitive to use.Overall getting the home inspected from Peter at Crest Home Inspections was a good experience and I would recommend using Peter's services to anyone.read more
